    Abstract

The elegant antanaclasis in Psalm 147 involving the threefold use of the homograph in vv. 15, 18, and 19 emphasizes a central message of the psalm: that God's true delight is not in the glory of nature, but in the faithful obedience of those who fear Him and trust in His lovingkindness.
