Abstract

Two demonstrations on superconductivity are described. In the first demonstration, the V-I curve of a short-circuited current are observed. In the second demonstration, the phase transition from the superconducting to the normal state of a BSCCO-2223 sample is observed through the change of its magnetic susceptibility. Both basic features of superconductivity, the zero electrical resistance and the diamagnetic properties, are thus shown. The demonstrations may become a useful addition to those described earlier and can be developed into laboratory experiments.
