Abstract

During the Autumn of 1989 I was privileged to participate in a unique ten-day'teaching-speaking'tour about the Holocaust, sponsored by Sir Sidney Hamburger, former Lord Mayor of Salford. Sir Sidney's intention was to introduce as many young people as possible to Holocaust studies, and I was therefore scheduled to speak to almost a dozen inter-racial and inter-denominational youth groups in the greater Manchester area of the United Kingdom.
