Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

Focuses on several American and Israeli women artists who, in order to present a female perspective of Holocaust history, chose to employ the following strategies: representation of the experience of Jewish women during the Holocaust; commemoration of Jewish and non-Jewish women; and representation of female familial cross-generational relationships in the art works of second generation women artists. Discusses, particularly, the works of American artist Judy Chicago and the Israeli artists Dvora Morag and Rachel Roggel.
