Abstract

The vulva and vagina undergo profound anatomic and physiologic changes in pregnancy. The following chapter describes these changes. It also elaborates on a few unique conditions: vulvar varicose veins, pain, genital herpes in pregnancy, condylomata acuminata, episiotomy, and perineal laceration.
