Abstract
The article discusses the study on the shattered dream in the prophecies of Joel in bridging between the generations of Ezekiel and Haggai. It seeks to challenge the critical difficulties of scholars in understanding Joel's prophecies to the post-destruction period on priestly leadership and ruling kingship in Judea or the northern kingdoms of Assyria and Babylonia. The author proposes that the oracles in the book of Joel are partly filling the prophetic literature to the prophecies of Ezekiel during the time of Haggai and Zechariah.
