The Prophecies of Joel: A Bridge between Ezekiel and Haggai

    Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

    Abstract

The article discusses the study on the shattered dream in the prophecies of Joel in bridging between the generations of Ezekiel and Haggai.‪ It seeks to challenge the critical difficulties of scholars in understanding Joel's prophecies to the post-destruction period on priestly leadership and ruling kingship in Judea or the northern kingdoms of Assyria and Babylonia.‪ The author proposes that the oracles in the book of Joel are partly filling the prophetic literature to the prophecies of Ezekiel during the time of Haggai and Zechariah.‪
