Abstract
This book is a study of the philosophy of R. Joseph Dov Soloveitchik, during the period between 1945 and 1965. The first section analyses R. Soloveitchik`s great phenomenological work U`Bikashtem Misham. The second section deals with a number of his articles, including ``Kol Dodi Dofek - It is the Voice of my Beloved that Knocketh`` and ``The Lonely Man of Faith``. This is the author`s second book on the philosophy of R. Soloveitchik.
