Abstract

Magnetic circular dichroism (MCD) studies of Dabco in the gas phase provide an unambiguous assignment of n → 3p Rydberg transition as a degenerate 1E′ state. The magnetic moment of this state was calculated from the experimental spectrum to be -0.17 Bohr magnetons.
