Abstract

A survey of the Hezekian collection points to seven proverbs (including Prov 29,21) which show clear signs of LBH, and two proverbs which require further study. These 7-9 late proverbs comprise approximately 5-7 % of the total 137 proverbs included in the Hezekian collection. The remaining proverbs, by contrast, do not reflect a late date. The conclusion presented in the article is, that the Hezekiah's men were by no means the last editors of this collection.
