Abstract

Between 1939 and 1948, a small contingent of young men from Palestine promoted Zionist and rescue related activities throughout the United States. During its ten year existence this group-affiliated with the Irgun Z'vai Leumi (IZL-~,~ g) l _ underwent several organizational transformations, each time adopting a different name and announcing new goals in accordance with the type of body created.
