Abstract

To account for the economic constraint of scarce resources, we assume that f and 8 are of opposite signs, such that the linear constraint linking yi and zi is downward sloping. 9 Let x=(xl,..., x.) denote the vector of strategies for the n players and du (x) denote the utility of player i as a function of the vector of strategies. Although ui and z; are restricted to be non-negative, xi is unrestricted in sign. Note that the parameters (x,, 8, y, 5,,) are common to all players. When any of them is random, the players share a common uncertain environment.
