Abstract

The author discusses the effect of power-law localisation (above a mobility edge) on the sharpness of the Anderson transition in a disordered 2D system. In particular, he predicts that the dependence of the conductivity (above the transition) on temperature, frequency and magnetic field should be a fractional power law which depends on the degree of disorder.
