Abstract
This paper addresses the need to pay attention to the multiplicity of possibleinterpretations of adjectives when applying to them the standard tests of scalestructure and standard (Kennedy &McNally 2005). In particular, the paperconsiders simple-dimensional, complex-dimensional, and multidimensional interpretationsof multidimensional adjectives (Sassoon in progress).
