N2 - Highly sensitive spin wave resonance experiments on thick yttrium-iron-garnet films reveal hundreds of lines below the magnetostatic lines in both the parallel and the perpendicular field configurations. This Letter is apparently the first to report well defined spin wave resonance spectra down to low fields in liquid-phase-epitaxy grown films with low surface pinning.
