Abstract

The Stern-Gerlach magnet deflection spectrum of a molecular beam of OClO cooled by supersonic expansion is spatially resolved only at low pressures. At these pressures two beams separated in space are detected. At higher pressures no deflection is observed. We attribute this behavior to the formation of a diamagnetic dimer.
