Abstract

Based on data collected as part of a survey sponsored by the Israel Ministry of Housing, this study concludes that mixing different ethnic groups within a neighbourhood context does not distract from successful community functioning. Since the predominant ideology in Israel is the integration of different populations, it would appear that ethnic mix through housing is a viable social policy.-from Authors
