Abstract

The growing interest in photoacoustic imaging using nanoparticles stems from the improved penetration depth and resolution. Such methods require pulsed laser in order to generate acoustic signal in the right frequency. In this paper we design special nanostructure which blinks under CW illumination and can be used for generation of acoustic signals.
