Abstract
Several schemes for slot reuse in CRMA II when implemented on the Dual Bus configuration are studied. They are all based on cancellations to confirmations that downstream stations transmit to upstream stations due to slot reuse, thus enabling a better use of the reserved slots. A correctness proof is supplied for the schemes, together with simulation results which show a better performance of the new schemes over the original one.
