Abstract

A complete development system for up to 12th-order semicustom switched-capacitor filters is presented that allows filter performance comparable to full custom implementations to be obtained. This system used a unique synthesis and unitized filter cell technique to allow automated design and database creation for nearly any filter type. A tenth-order elliptic SC ladder lowpass filter with exceptionable performance has been designed and demonstrated with this technique.
