Abstract

The prefabricated steel structure integrated pipe gallery, as a new type of integrated pipe gallery construction structure, can meet the actual demand for rapid construction of underground integrated pipe galleries. In distributed optical fiber sensing technology, optical fibers serve as both the sensing medium and the transmission medium for the measured quantity. By utilizing the transmission characteristics of light waves in optical fibers, some physical quantities (such as temperature, pressure, stress, and strain, etc.) can be continuously measured along the direction of the optical fibers. BOTDA technology, as a distributed optical fiber sensing technology based on Brillouin scattering, has a promising application prospect in measuring the health condition of structures. Based on the high-performance BOTDA technology, we completed the work of monitoring the strain distribution of each structural corrugated plate of the prefabricated steel structure integrated pipe gallery in the field test, and used this as a basis to conduct the research on the structural performance of the prefabricated steel structure integrated pipe gallery. Through the strain monitoring of the corrugated plates under different loading conditions, the bearing capacity and deformation capacity of the steel structure pipe gallery were verified.
