Research at Wonderwerk Cave is carried out under permits issued by the South African Heritage Resources Agency and analysis of the archeological assemblages under the terms of a signed agreement between M. Chazan and the McGregor Museum. Financial support for the new excavations is provided by grants to M. Chazan and F. Berna from the Canadian Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council.
