Production of a Matter-Wave Bright Soliton from a Bose-Einstein Condensate

Abstract

We show the formation of matter-wave solitons from7Li Bose-Einstein Condensate. Inter-atomic interactions are tuned magnetically in the vicinity of a Feshbach resonance. The soliton propagation without dispersion in an optical waveguide is demonstrated.
