Abstract

Sonochemistry in now well recognized as a technique for the fabrication of nanomaterials. This is reflected in the many review articles on sonochemistry and nanoparticles that have been published over the last few years. It is so happened that Suslick, one of the forefathers of this field, has lately written a very comprehensive review on this topic (Bang, 2010). In his review, Suslick has summarized the work published on sonochemistry and nanomaterials until 2010. The current review will try to scan the work done in this area until the end of 2012.
