Abstract

Average population densities obtained in the Negev Desert soils (887 000 ind. × m-2) were significantly higher than those obtained in the Mojave Desert. A higher percentage of 71% bacteria feeders was obtained. Occurrence of omnivore-predator nematodes was sporadic. -from Authors
