Abstract
Two additions to student experiments with a photovoltaic cell are described. The power of the incident radiation is determined experimentally and the efficiency of the energy conversion is presented as a function of the temperature of the source of irradiation, an incandescent lamp. Two simple tools are designed for measuring the incident radiation by a comparison method.
