Abstract

We consider a problem of scheduling a transporting robot in a production line in which information about operation durations may be incomplete or uncertain. The vague input data are modelled by fuzzy numbers. A numerical algorithm based on operations over the fuzzy numbers is developed, and an example is provided to demonstrate the validity of our model.
