Abstract
Anisotropic objects are known to acquire an induced moment in a direction different than that of the field, which leads to periodic motion under certain resonance conditions. The numerical solution of the nonlinear equation of motion which has the form of parametric resonance is performed. When the external field is increased the solution shows Feigenbaum frequency doubling and strange-attractor behavior.
