Abstract
A classical rotor subjected to deterministic and random forces showed a broad spectrum of motion including deterministic, deterministic chaos, random and erratic. The equation of motion of the classical overdamped rotor had the completely deterministic solution. The system had 'one-and-half' degrees of freedom which was sufficient for the onset of the well-known phenomenon of deterministic chaos.
