Optical vortex trajectories

An applied extension of the sign rule that permit its application to vortex trajectories is developed. Every manifold nested p-trajectories must have opposite orientations, while adjacent p-trajectories must have the same orientation. An explicit theoretical construction for multi-turn spiral trajectories in a Gaussian laser beam using nongeneric vortices is presented.
