Abstract
In recent years the use of optical elements in control systems has become common and sometimes even a necessity. In the work presented below we tried to design an optically implemented fuzzy - controller that will bring to use the advantages of optics, such as processing speed, flexibility and parallelism. A computer simulation allowed us to check the influence of the membership function on the results in several system configurations and the conclusions are to be used in a laboratory optical control system to be built soon.
