Abstract
The anisotropy of the upper critical field Hc2 in the rhombohedral crystal is calculated in the case where the superconducting order parameter {A figure is presented} transforms under space rotations according to the degenerate (two-dimensional) representation of the crystal point group. The results are compared with the unusual anisotropy of the field Hc2 experimentally observed in Cu1.8Mo6S8 monocrystal.
