Abstract
A method suggested for computing iteration parameters for the boundary vorticity of slightly viscous fluids (Israeli 1970) is reconsidered. A more general model is constructed which is applicable to rotating and non-rotating flows in several coordinate systems, and each coordinate can be independently stretched. The iteration parameters can be used with either the time centered implicit (Crank-Nicholson) or with the alternating direction implicit (Peaceman-Rachford) time differencing approximation.
