Abstract
In an earlier paper by the authors in this issue (J. Math. Anal. Appl. 160, 1991) various necessary conditions to determine the boundary of the zero set have been provided in a very general setting. Here, we classify and indicate which of the arsenal of conditions should be used for various classes of problems and functions for computational convenience.
