Abstract

The time-dependent diffusivity D(t) is usually defined as the coefficient that appears in the diffusion equation, while the frequency-dependent diffusivity D( omega ) is defined the Fourier transform of the velocity-velocity correlation function. D( omega )/(i omega ), rather than D( omega ), is the Fourier transform of D(t).
