Abstract
The Oikonomika attributed to Aristotle is three unrelated short works, none of them, apparently, written by him, but all probably deriving from his philosophic school. The first book is a brief treatise on household management, the second a longer discussion of governmental finance, and the third, which exists only in two medieval Latin translations, a short manual for marital happiness.
