Abstract

The low-temperature electrical resistivity data for Li from 1.2-10 K are presented, showing that only for Li, among all the simple metals, does on obtain a quadratic temperature dependence over an extended temperature range. The quadratic temperature dependence is identified as being due to electron-electron scattering.
