Abstract

Lead chalcogenides have emerged as highly promising materials for nanophotonics and optoelectronics, owing to their high refractive indices, remarkable thermo-optic coefficients, and excellent transparency in the mid-infrared (MIR) spectrum [1-4]. In this study, PbTe hoppercubes (HCs)-characterized by their open-face cubic geometry-were synthesized via a hydrothermal method and investigated for their unique MIR resonant properties.
