Abstract

The fruits of Mabea caudata contain, besides 5,7,4′-trihydroxyflavanone (naringenin), naringenin 7-O-β-(3,6-di-p-coumaroylglucoside) and naringenin 7-O-β-(3-p-coumaroylglucoside).

TLC (Si gel, &J-I-Me*CO, 7: 3) into less pnar la aad more nolar p-caumariea cid. Bock comoouds were identifiedb y direct comparisonw ith authentics amples.
