Abstract
Multi-fetal pregnancy is associated with a higher rate of complications and specific conditions, both during pregnancy and labor, that are not seen with singletons. All these make the twin fetus more vulnerable and put him at higher risk. We describe the types of twins, the complications that are unique to them, and the conditions they may face during labor.
