Abstract
Relativistic optical potentials are calculated for p-208Pb elastic scattering at 200 and 400 MeV by folding a model for the NN t matrix with Hartree densities. Use of pseudovector π-N coupling in t (at 200 MeV) and including Pauli blocking corrections gives good agreement with TRIUMF data. The role of medium corrections in relativistic versus nonrelativistic approaches is discussed.
