Abstract

THz emission from Fe, Pt, and Ta based bilayer and trilayer spintronic heterostructures have been studied. Owing to the inverse spin Hall effect for the generation of THz radiation from the ultrafast NIR laser pulse excited structures, Ta/Fe/Pt system provides the highest efficiency.
