Abstract

Mesoporous nanoplatforms have emerged as potent instruments in theragnostics, providing dual functionality for accurate diagnosis and focused treatment. Their extensive surface area, adjustable pore dimensions, and functional adaptability facilitate regulated medication delivery, bioimaging, and real-time observation of illness advancement. Improvements in surface functionalization and stimuli-responsive drug release have increased their therapeutic effectiveness. Nonetheless, issues including biocompatibility, large-scale manufacturing, and targeted distribution must be resolved for clinical application. Future advancements that incorporate artificial intelligence, gene editing, and immunotherapy have the potential to transform customized medicine. This chapter examines the design, applications, problems, and future possibilities of mesoporous nanoplatforms in theragnostics.
