Abstract
A study was conducted on a Fermi gas mixture in the strongly interacting regime near a Feshbach resonance. As such, new features were observed which may be the signature of richer physics. Anisotropic expansions were observed both for repulsive and attractive mean-field interactions, in a moderately degenerate Fermi gas. This was interpreted in terms of collisional hydrodynamics without invoking Fermi superfluidity.
