Abstract

In this study, measurements of magnetoresistance (MR(H)) were carried out for [Co(10 angstrom)/Cu/Co(60 angstrom)/Cu]N and [Co(10 angstrom)/Cu] [Co(60 angstrom)/Cu]N magnetic multilayers. The current perpendicular to the planes (CPP)-mode MR(H) curves were quantitative explained for both by taking into account that the electron mean free path is much longer than the thickness of a layer.
