Abstract
Bar-Ilan University, Israel developed a rechargeable magnesium battery that can be recycled thousand of times with extremely low capacity fading. Laboratory tests verified that the battery can be recharged over 3000 times, and can produce 1.1 to 1.3 volts per single cell, with energy density comparable to that of existing systems. The magnesium battery is expected to be available by the end of the year for many applications.
