L'utilisation polémique de Rashi lors de la controverse de Tortosa (1413-1414)

Analyzes and comments on how Jerónimo de Santa Fe used Rashi's commentaries on the Bible and rabbinical literature in the Tortosa disputation and in polemical treatises. In the treatise "Ad convincendum perfidiam Judaeorum", Rashi's comments were used for elucidation of the problem of the coming of the Messiah. In the treatise "De Judaicis erroribus ex Talmut", he did not use Rashi's writings to promote the Christian faith, but attacked Jewish faith, the Talmud, and Rashi himself. Concludes that Jeronimo made use of Rashi's comments with subtlety and ambiguity.
