Abstract
IN THE STUDY OF COLLECTIVE choice rules, most attention has been focused upon majority rule. This rule has been receiving attention both because of its very common use in practice and because of its desirable properties, being the only collective choice rule which satisfies a certain list of requirements. 2 Yet this rule has some deficiencies, the most important of which is the so-called" paradox of voting."
