Abstract

The aim of the conference was to investigate the links, in the form of contemporary contacts, correspondence and reception, between the German thinker and philosophers, theologians, mathematicians, scientists, politicians and linguists in England, Ireland, Scotland, as well as his influence upon some later philosophers in the English-speaking world.
