Abstract
In light of the excavations and publications of the finds from the two neighboring sites of Tell eṣ-Ṣafi/Gath and Khirbet Qeiyafa, I present an assessment of
the suggested interpretations of the site of Khirbet Qeiyafa in its broader regional context, and discuss the relationship between the two sites during the
early Iron Age.
