Abstract

Phytobezoar is a rare cause of intestinal obstruction in children. A 7-year-old boy was operated on for intestinal obstruction due to a phytobezoar. An exceptionally large amount of Lupin seeds had been eaten a few hours before the onset of pain. lupin seeds have not been documented as a cause of phytobezoar.
